WHO WE SERVE / FAMILY OFFICES

We invest, families invest with us

We take concentrated positions in a small number of private companies across AI, compute and energy, robotics, and space & defence tech. Each decision rests on our own research, and we hold the position through to exit. Family offices invest alongside us, in the same companies, on the same analysis.

01

Positions, not a portfolio

Each investment is a decision about one company, made on its own merits. Family offices are invested in that specific position rather than in a pooled allocation, with the same exposure to the same outcome that we carry ourselves.

02

One set of facts

The structure, valuation basis, cap table and risk considerations we underwrite on are the same ones family offices see. We don't maintain a separate investor-facing version of our analysis, because we are invested in the outcome on identical terms.

03

Terms set deal by deal

Economics are agreed for each transaction together with the lead investors in it, and they are the same for everyone invested in that deal. What is right for one investment is not right for the next, so the terms follow the deal rather than a standing schedule. Whatever is agreed is set out in full before any commitment.

04

No fund machinery

The position is structured as a Luxembourg securitisation compartment and settles with the family office's own custodian, like any other security in the portfolio. There is no limited partnership agreement, no capital call schedule and no subscription process, because none of that is what is being held.

One strategy, two structures

We invest our own conviction in late-stage private technology companies, backing each opportunity through proprietary research and holding through to exit. Families invest alongside us, in the same companies and on aligned terms.

Questions family offices ask us

How does Acquinox work with family offices?

Acquinox provides access to selected late-stage private technology investments through company-by-company opportunities and, in due course, pooled strategies. Each opportunity is independently sourced, underwritten and structured before being presented to investors.

What types of companies does Acquinox invest in?

The focus is on later-stage private technology businesses operating across Acquinox’s core conviction areas: intelligence, compute & energy, embodiment and sovereign demand. Investments are typically in companies that have moved beyond early product-market risk and reached sufficient scale for institutional underwriting.

How are investment opportunities selected?

Every position is assessed across company fundamentals, market structure, valuation, ownership terms, downside risks and potential liquidity pathways. Access alone is not sufficient — the investment case must stand on its own.

Can family offices invest on a deal-by-deal basis?

Yes. Selected opportunities can be accessed individually, allowing family offices to build exposure company by company and retain discretion over each allocation. This can complement broader private-market or venture portfolios without requiring a blind-pool commitment.

Does Acquinox invest alongside its investors?

The model is built around alignment. Acquinox takes investment positions based on its own research and underwriting, with eligible investors able to participate alongside Acquinox in selected opportunities and structures.

How does Acquinox approach portfolio monitoring and exits?

Oversight continues after closing, with ongoing monitoring of company developments, valuation, capital activity and potential liquidity events. Exit pathways may include IPOs, strategic transactions or secondary-market liquidity, depending on the company and security held.
